Clinical Research Manager (Research Masters student)
She started her nursing career in 2005 with a Bsc in General Nursing in Trinity College and St. James's Hospital, Dublin. Following her interest in nursing, her career moved her to an oncology unit, where she has worked for the last six years; gaining experience with surgical, oncology and radiotherapy patients at all stages of disease/treatment. She completed her PostGraduate Diploma in Adult Cancer Nursing in 2014. Claire is determined, hardworking, caring and wants to make a positive and beneficial change for patients. In light of this, she joined the team at Theya Healthcare. As part of her Masters in conjunction with UCD, she is undertaking a clinical trial, which started in the Spring of 2015, studying the psychosocial effect of the Theya Healthcare's Recovery Range on ladies who have completed breast surgery and are undergoing radiotherapy treatment. In addition, the study is looking at the inherent properties of bamboo, something with little research on at the moment and which she is very excited about it!
