Meet Our Brand Ambassadors

how we found these amazing women

During Breast Cancer awareness month, we searched high and low to find our newest brand ambassadors to represent us. We had an overwhelming response to our call from the ladies of Ireland, with over 100 applications. We found it incredibly difficult to choose one lady so we decided to increase our selection to four! (it didn't make the task any easier!).
The chosen ladies participated in a fantastic photoshoot at iCLOTHING HQ, based in Dublin and then joined us in an interview to tell the story of their individual journey through breast cancer.

Read the bios below and watch their incredibly moving interviews.

Trina Cleary

Trina is from Wexford, Joyfully cancer free from October 2019! "I have had chemo, 2 surgeries (1 mastectomy with no reconstruction) and radiotherapy treatment. I pride myself on sharing my entire journey to raise awareness, sharing the good, the bad and the ugly, the real and raw side of cancer and have aimed to remove the 'taboo'-ness of the subject"

Emma Corcoran

Emma is from Dublin, she is incredibly active in the breast cancer community in Ireland and has brought many issues to light. "I am classified as treatable but incurable, but I don't let it get me down. Life is for living and worrying won't solve anything."

Aine Cole

Meet County Cavan woman Aine, Aine was 34 when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer, that was 2009. Here is her story - "I had a mastectomy on my left side and reconstruction followed by chemotherapy. In 2011 I was surprised to find out I was pregnant with my 4th child. Then in 2013 I found out I had breast cancer of a different type on my right side and that the previous cancer was back on my left. I had all breast tissue removed. I then found out I had the Barca 1 gene so I had my ovaries removed as well. That was followed by more chemo and radiotherapy. It's now 6 years and I have never looked back. I am fit and healthy and delighted to be cancer free!"

Teresa Costello

Dublin girl Teresa Costello was diagnosed at age 36 - "After the treatment of chemo, mastectomy and radiotherapy I made a full recovery. That was 6 years ago. Since then my life has changed dramatically. I found love - in the radiotherapy waiting room. I moved house, changed career, I now run an online support group for people affected by breast cancer (Breast Friends Ireland) and this year I was elected in the local elections! Life is good!" Teresa is very open about her experience and is also an ambassador for Breast Cancer Ireland.
