Marie Keating Foundation

Marie Keating Foundation

Established in 1998 after the premature death of Marie Keating, the Marie Keating Foundation has since evolved to be a leading voice in cancer awareness and information for both men and women in Ireland. Focused on their mission of “making cancer less frightening by enlightening’, the Marie Keating Foundation provides information on all the key cancers, including breast cancer, cervical, ovarian , throat, lung, skin, prostate, testicular and bowel cancers. The Foundation also provides practical support services to families affected by cancer through its Comfort Fund. All services offered by the Foundation are provided free of charge. Funding for their services comes from fundraisers, volunteers and corporate supporters across Ireland. Without this support they could not continue to provide these vital services to 16,000+ people across the country every year.

At THEYA we have seen first-hand how the Marie Keating Foundation makes a difference. THEYA is delighted to be an affinity partner with the Marie Keating Foundation, supporting funding, so that they can continue their superb work educating communities, schools, workplaces across the country. THEYA donates 15% of all THEYA products purchased from the Foundation's On Line Shop to the Marie Keating Foundation.

Funds received allow the Marie Keating Foundation to provide services such as:

  • Mobile outreach services
  • Cancer Awareness campaigns
  • Schools Cancer Awareness Programme
  • Comfort Fund
  • Survive & Thrive programme

As well as all this, the Foundation runs a series of fundraising events and campaigns throughout the year. For further information, click here to see the exciting series of walks; cycles; runs etc . THEYA is privileged to be selected by the Foundation to be an addition to their catwalk line up for this year’s Survive-and-thrive Fashion Show taking place on October 5th in the Conrad Hotel in Dublin. It promises to be a brilliant event and we're thrilled to be involved
